Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 65) Louie Savic started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Louie Savic let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 6th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. After having played for 10 minutes, Louie Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desert Roses™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Louie Savic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bairre McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Britain Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gearard McMichel in the 13th minute of play forced Desert Roses™'s goalkeeper Bairre McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Desert Roses™ got a freekick which was hit by Pat Willson. Kevinn McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Savic in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Aodh Callaghan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desert Roses™'s Bairre McNamara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Benson in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louie Savic in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevinn McLian saved Ballaghkeen from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Desert Roses™'s Pat Willson got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Desert Roses™'s goal looked a bit too open when Turlough Morrison came free, but Bairre McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louie Savic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Kevinn McLian made a huge save. Bairre McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gearard McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Desert Roses™ got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Valerio. If Louie Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bairre McNamara came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballaghkeen's Britain Murphy. But to his dismay, Britain Murphy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Ballaghkeen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Britain Murphy to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turlough Morrison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louie Savic in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevinn McLian saved Ballaghkeen from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Louie Savic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desert Roses™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Ballaghkeen's Gearard McMichel got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Louie Savic came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Desert Roses™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louie Savic couldn't finish the play. Kevinn McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Savic in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Desert Roses™'s goalkeeper Bairre McNamara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Benson. Aodh Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevinn McLian having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Louie Savic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevinn McLian was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Aodh Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kevinn McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Desert Roses™'s Louie Savic in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballaghkeen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Desert Roses™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ailill Martyn to maneuver through the defense. If Louie Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kevinn McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Desert Roses™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Valerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Berk Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Louie Savic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevinn McLian was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Desert Roses™ had played much better football throughout.
