Rorey McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louie Savic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Britain Mulvihill made a huge save. Aodh Callaghan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Desert Roses™'s Dugan McPhilip ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Britain Mulvihill. Britain Mulvihill yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 18th minute of the match Rodolfo Valerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Britain Mulvihill showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peter Johnson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bairre McNamara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Valerio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodolfo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Louie Savic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Britain Mulvihill was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louie Savic got free with Britain Mulvihill in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louie Savics short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Britain Mulvihill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beartlai Ghee in the 41st minute of play forced Desert Roses™'s goalkeeper Bairre McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Peter Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 minutes, Beale Harkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falprobog Utd and the Desert Roses™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Falprobog Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beale Harkin to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Bairre McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beartlai Ghee in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Louie Savic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falprobog Utd's Britain Mulvihill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Louie Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Britain Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Britain Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Savic in the 58th minute of the match. Louie Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Louie Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britain Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Desert Roses™ defense, Seoirse Rutherford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bairre McNamara. The Desert Roses™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bairre McNamara should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the game, one of Falprobog Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aodh Callaghan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 90th match minute, Desert Roses™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannen Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. When Louie Savic came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Desert Roses™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louie Savic couldn't finish the play.
