Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Crossna's Braden Palmer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Kilronan got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Grant. Todd Martyn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bow Colwell. Kilronan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bow Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conn Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Braden Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Crossna got a freekick which was hit by Conn Martyn. After 17 played minutes Kilronan got a freekick which was hit by Brenan Caffrey. In the 21st minute, Todd Martyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braden Palmer took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bow Colwell. Bow Colwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bow Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartel McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Crossna booed when Kilronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patraic Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todd Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Crossna's goal looked a bit too open when Dugan McDonald came free, but Gaynor Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Dugan McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dugan McDonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bow Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryland Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bow Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braden Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dugan McDonald to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaynor Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenan Caffrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Torran Palmer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaynor Bayes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bow Colwell came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Crossna's Conn Martyn. But to his dismay, Conn Martyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gaynor Bayes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dugan McDonald's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Dugan McDonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crossna's Gaynor Bayes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torran Palmer struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gaynor Bayes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilronan. In the 73rd minute, Ryland Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Braden Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 77 in the game by Conn Martyn from a close distance when the talented Bow Colwell managed to make a qualified save. Kilronan's players were relieved. Conn Martyn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Bow Colwell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brenan Caffrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dugan McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaynor Bayes having to interfere. Joshua Grant hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
