Spectators: 7625 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 65) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex McCollion took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aodh Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bairre McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich Sheridan in the 5th minute of play. Bairre McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartel McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desert Roses™ were furious when Brannen Quinnless was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Desert Roses™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Drumgowan Ut:s goal. Desert Roses™:s Bairre McNamara showed great skill when he stopped Bartel McStephen:s penalty. After some careless play in the Desert Roses™ defense, Bartel McStephen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bairre McNamara. The Desert Roses™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bairre McNamara should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Herich Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ailill Martyn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Desert Roses™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 19th minute Ailill Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bairre McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaithmeic McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Ailill Martyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fionntán Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumgowan Ut's supporters rose to their feet, but Fionntán Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairre McNamara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herich Sheridan in the 26th minute of play forced Desert Roses™'s goalkeeper Bairre McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drumgowan Ut's Donagh McLaughlin suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Desert Roses™'s Aodh Callaghan got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dugan McPhilip's late challenge caught a Drumgowan Ut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dugan McPhilip helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Cesc Fabregas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Bartel McStephen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Desert Roses™'s Bairre McNamara didn't even have to move. 32 minutes into the match, Fionntán Benson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Desert Roses™'s Bairre McNamara. Bairre McNamara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bairre McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich Sheridan in the 38th minute of play. The Drumgowan Ut fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute Ailill Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bartel McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartel McStephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bairre McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Drumgowan Ut were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fionntán Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartel McStephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bairre McNamara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartel McStephen ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the game, Herich Sheridan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bairre McNamara. Herich Sheridan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Fionntán Benson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bairre McNamara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumgowan Ut. Bartel McStephen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bairre McNamara came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartel McStephen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Fionntán Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairre McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fionntán Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumgowan Ut's supporters rose to their feet, but Fionntán Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairre McNamara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desert Roses™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartel McStephen was slow to take the kick. During this time Drumgowan Ut's players had a chance to rest. Pat Kirby hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Fionntán Benson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desert Roses™'s Bairre McNamara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. If Herich Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aodh Callaghan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theodore Rutherford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Drumgowan Ut getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bradagain Cooney hit a great ball. The supporters of Desert Roses™ booed when Drumgowan Ut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cesc Fabregas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desert Roses™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cesc Fabregas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drumgowan Ut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
