Spectators: 6764 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) Aban Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyle Hunt having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Meenawogary FC's Petran Hughes tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Meenawogary FC's Boyle Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Gollogley in the 8th minute of play. Barney McWilliam took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nollaig McBrandon. Nollaig McBrandon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nollaig McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bivadi Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rian McPeter during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rian McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Aban Duggan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Booak Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Roland Mulvihill sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Meenawogary FC's Boyle Hunt didn't even have to move. Barram Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Meenawogary FC got a freekick which was hit by Bivadi Ferguson. With a little luck, Meenawogary FC's Boyle Hunt got control of the ball when Aban Duggan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Gollogley in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyle Hunt saved Meenawogary FC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Callaghan made a kick off. Tomás Callaghan charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Callaghan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Callaghan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aban Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Boyle Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nollaig McBrandon was a little too slow when Tomás Callaghan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 69th minute, Aban Duggan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyle Hunt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Meenawogary FC's Boyle Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Gollogley in the 74th minute of play. Nollaig McBrandon made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Barney McWilliam sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aban Duggan in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyle Hunt saved Meenawogary FC from getting behind. Tomás Callaghan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomás Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barney Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
