Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brannon McLaughlin got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Tullagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don McDonald to maneuver through the defense. When Bannan Byrne fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tullagh's protests and gave Bannan Byrne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute of the match, Branson Savic got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hewney Palmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Killbride Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon McLaughlin came free, but Brogan McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tullagh booed when Killbride Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrey McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hewney Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herygh Horgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brannon McLaughlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brogan McBrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brant Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Brant Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brogan McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torna Doyle in the 39th minute of play forced Killbride Utd's goalkeeper Brogan McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herygh Horgan in the 42nd minute of play forced Tullagh's goalkeeper Hewney Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herygh Horgan took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hewney Palmer. Hewney Palmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hewney Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branson Savic in the 62nd minute of the match. Barrie McBrandon charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barrie McBrandon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Killbride Utd's Barrie McBrandon got a free kick in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Killbride Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon McLaughlin came free, but Brogan McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tullagh booed when Killbride Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herygh Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Brannon McLaughlin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brogan McBrand. The goal made the score 2-1. Torna Doyle made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Brogan McBrand would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Torna Doyle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brogan McBrand having to make a save. If Branson Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Branson Savic in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hewney Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brannon McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Killbride Utd's goalkeeper Brogan McBrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torna Doyle. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Killbride Utd had won after a very even match.
