The referee ignored Cloonbannin's protests and gave Buach Perth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Meenawogary FC booed when Cloonbannin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buach Perth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloonbannin's goalkeeper Aubrey John, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barney McWilliam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
