Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Darragh Costello made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Kiltulla's Nollaig McDonald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aubrey John. Aubrey John yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Aubrey John stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nollaig McDonald's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The supporters of Kiltulla booed when Cloonbannin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seoirse Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Darragh Costello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiltulla's Hickey McCollion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The nice shot from Blayne McGlenn in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Aubrey John had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Rylee McAlphie hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Aubrey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nollaig McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Turlough Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darragh Costello in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hickey McCollion saved Kiltulla from getting behind. The long shot by Boyne Taylor in the 41st minute really tested Aubrey John's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Beglan Ferguson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beglan Ferguson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cloonbannin's Rylee McAlphie got a free kick in the 46th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kiltulla's Tady Gough tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nollaig McDonald made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, David McBjarton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Darragh Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hickey McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gearroid Cronin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, David McBjarton notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kiltulla's Hickey McCollion. Hickey McCollion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Cloonbannin's zone, Blayne McGlenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aubrey John came out of the goal and Blayne McGlenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nollaig McDonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nollaig McDonald in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aubrey John saved Cloonbannin from getting behind. In the 69th minute Nollaig McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nollaig McDonald in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aubrey John prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gearroid Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Buach Perth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kiltulla's Hickey McCollion didn't even have to move. When Geary Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cloonbannin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geary Hughes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nollaig McDonald in the 91st minute of play forced Cloonbannin's goalkeeper Aubrey John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiltulla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tady Gough in the 93rd minute. Tady Gough made a great header on Kiltulla's corner, it was just that Cloonbannin's Aubrey John managed to reach the ball for a save. If Nollaig McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nollaig McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey John having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Cloonbannin failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
