Conaill O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herygh Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Branson Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conaill O'Down having to interfere. Conaill O'Down stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herygh Horgan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Listicall AFC's Bree Dempsey got a free kick in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Killbride Utd's Herygh Horgan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conaill O'Down. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Branson Savic's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Conaill O'Down skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Timmons McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bivitas McAlphie's late challenge caught a Killbride Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bivitas McAlphie helped the player get up and apologised. Torrey McJames struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Conaill O'Down didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killbride Utd. After a rather tough play, Listicall AFC's Gerard Prunty got a free kick in the 37th minute. Killbride Utd's Roordan McPeter couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Listicall AFC. Branson Savic spun around in front of the goal 40 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Listicall AFC's goal. If Branson Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herygh Horgan to strike the kick off in the second half. Quirk Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Killbride Utd's Brogan McBrand got control of the ball when Timmons McJon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Branson Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Conaill O'Down tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conaill O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Killbride Utd's Branson Savic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conaill O'Down narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Branson Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Conaill O'Down tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Killbride Utd booed when Listicall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bree Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Listicall AFC's goalkeeper Conaill O'Down, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match Kealan Tierney sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conaill O'Down skillfully saved the ball. Barrie McBrandon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Killbride Utd's zone, Quirk Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brogan McBrand came out of the goal and Quirk Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
