A well placed Tiomoid Gillmour short distance shot in the 21st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Branson Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Barley Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herygh Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Hutton having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herygh Horgan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barley Hutton saved Cahersherkin Utd from getting behind. A collision led to Cahersherkin Utd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Boyne McBrand hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brede McSteven during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiomoid Gillmour scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brogan McBrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herygh Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Hutton having to interfere. The supporters of Killbride Utd booed when Cahersherkin Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyne McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Killbride Utd's Branson Savic got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barley Hutton made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Branson Savic sent off a good shot on target. When Breas McWill fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cahersherkin Utd's protests and gave Breas McWill a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Killbride Utd booed when Cahersherkin Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breas McWill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Killbride Utd's Herygh Horgan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Killbride Utd's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Killbride Utd may have spent more time on the ball, but Cahersherkin Utd were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
