Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darragh Costello got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Rylee McAlphie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brogan McBrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, Cloonbannin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seoirse Prunty to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes of play, Cloonbannin's David McBjarton made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brogan McBrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Torrey McJames fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killbride Utd's protests and gave Torrey McJames a yellow card for diving instead. Torrey McJames hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Brogan McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darragh Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Killbride Utd's Herygh Horgan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Roordan McPeter hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darragh Costello in the 25th minute of play forced Killbride Utd's goalkeeper Brogan McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cloonbannin's David McBjarton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brogan McBrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Branson Savic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David McBjarton in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brogan McBrand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute Seoirse Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brogan McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herygh Horgan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Barrie McBrandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rylee McAlphie's late challenge caught a Killbride Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rylee McAlphie helped the player get up and apologised. Rylee McAlphie hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Brogan McBrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darragh Costello's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Torrey McJames got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Killbride Utd getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Torrey McJames hit a great ball. Branson Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey John having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Killbride Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Darragh Costello came free, but Brogan McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Killbride Utd's Herygh Horgan got a free kick in the 74th minute. When David McBjarton came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cloonbannin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David McBjarton couldn't finish the play. David McBjarton struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Brogan McBrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonbannin. Barrie McBrandon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Branson Savic might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aubrey John. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Branson Savic ran back to his position shaking his head. Buach Perth, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
