With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rordan McPaul in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nolyn McJohnny saved Cloonusker from getting behind. In the 3rd match minute, Cloonusker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tirloch McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Abbot McJames left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloonusker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Theobald Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden McWillie in the 9th minute of the match. Tirloch McBjarton charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tirloch McBjarton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tirloch McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Braden Ryan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballinasloe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Brayden McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirloch McBjarton in the 23rd minute of play forced Ballinasloe FC's goalkeeper Theobald Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Cloonusker. Beiti Mullan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Theobald Martyn. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brayden McWillie in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theobald Martyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 34 in the game by Adamnan Coyle from a close distance when the talented Nolyn McJohnny managed to make a qualified save. Cloonusker's players were relieved. If Braden Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theobald Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braden Ryan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Nolyn McJohnny when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nolyn McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rordan McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Abbot McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nolyn McJohnny came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballinasloe FC's Braden Ryan. But to his dismay, Braden Ryan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Brayden McWillie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theobald Martyn having to make a save. Braden Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolyn McJohnny having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamnan Coyle in the 64th minute of play forced Cloonusker's goalkeeper Nolyn McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Braden Ryan sped through Cloonusker's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nolyn McJohnny. Rordan McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Brayden McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Barra Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cloonusker's Nolyn McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braden Ryan in the 77th minute of play. Theobald Martyn made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Keely Keegan sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adamnan Coyle during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballinasloe FC's Adamnan Coyle got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes, Cloonusker's Beiti Mullan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theobald Martyn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cloonusker reached it. The supporters of Ballinasloe FC booed when Cloonusker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keely Keegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nolyn McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braden Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Nolyn McJohnny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rordan McPaul's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Lee Johnson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Beiti Mullan, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ailill John kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ballinasloe FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
