Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timmons Jameson started the match with the kick off. Timmons Jameson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Beagan Harkin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Spaville's zone, Raonall Rutherford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beagan Harkin came out of the goal and Raonall Rutherford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beagan Harkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmons Jameson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Timmons Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beagan Harkin having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Spaville's goalkeeper Beagan Harkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raonall Rutherford. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmons Jameson in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beagan Harkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Timmons Jameson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castlejordan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spaville the free kick. Timmons Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Raonall Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Beagan Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Raonall Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Castlejordan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raonall Rutherford couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raonall Rutherford got free with Beagan Harkin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raonall Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Raonall Rutherford from a close distance when the talented Beagan Harkin managed to make a qualified save. Spaville's players were relieved. After 35 played minutes Castlejordan got a freekick which was hit by Quirk McWill. In the 36th minute of the match Edwin McLaughlin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barde McNamara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Castlejordan's goal looked a bit too open when Dermot McDonald came free, but Barde McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryon McAaron hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Spaville's goal looked a bit too open when Timmons Jameson came free, but Beagan Harkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lee McGlynn to strike the kick off in the second half. 0-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Dermot McDonald elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Spaville getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bragan Dunne hit a great ball. Raonall Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Beagan Harkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlejordan. In the 65th match minute, Spaville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tathan McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Spaville's Beagan Harkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmons Jameson in the 68th minute of play. Beagan Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Jameson in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Spaville's zone, Raonall Rutherford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beagan Harkin came out of the goal and Raonall Rutherford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raonall Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beagan Harkin having to interfere. Bragan Dunne hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Castlejordan booed when Spaville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barhart Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beagan Harkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmons Jameson went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Lee McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castlejordan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
