A collision led to Glenatlucky getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bearnad McJon hit a great ball. Timmons Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleary Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berk Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Timmons Willson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Tate Dillon sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Glenatlucky booed when Cuilkillew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barin McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Glenn Holt fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuilkillew's protests and gave Glenn Holt a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, Derin Frankson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuilkillew's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenatlucky the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, Glenatlucky's goalkeeper Timmons Willson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tate Dillon. After a rather tough play, Glenatlucky's Pearce Gillmour got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cuilkillew's Tate Dillon got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glenatlucky's Irwin Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tate Dillon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Timmons Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuilkillew. Bedilia Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Finn Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Cuilkillew got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Holt. 41 minutes into the match, Glenatlucky's goalkeeper Timmons Willson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tate Dillon. Cuilkillew's Finn Silke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin Rogers in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuilkillew's goalkeeper Finn Silke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Cuilkillew's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Rogers came free, but Finn Silke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Finn Silke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Rogers in the 55th minute of play. Finn Silke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irwin Rogers's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Bradon McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedilia Dunne got free with Finn Silke in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irwin Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Irwin Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Cuilkillew's Breasal Dempsey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Breasal Dempsey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuilkillew protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Breasal Dempsey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 69 minutes into the game, one of Cuilkillew:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bedilia Dunne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Finn Silke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Finn Silke acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Becan McNamee. Timmons Willson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tate Dillon in the 81st minute of the match. Irwin Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Finn Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bedilia Dunne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Finn Silke was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Cuilkillew's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Irwin Rogers 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. If Bedilia Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finn Silke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irwin Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Cuilkillew getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Glenn Holt hit a great ball. The Glenatlucky players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
