Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Irwin McFrank kicked off to start the match. Killbarly's Gaynor McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brayden McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keely Keegan might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aengus McPeter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keely Keegan ran back to his position shaking his head. The Killbarly fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Killbarly's Irwin McFrank looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Críostóir McTommy fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killbarly's protests and gave Críostóir McTommy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cloonusker booed when Killbarly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Críostóir McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Tirloch McBjarton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonusker and the Killbarly players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Cloonusker's goal looked a bit too open when Gaynor McBrandon came free, but Nolyn McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cloonusker's Beiti Mullan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nolyn McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaynor McBrandon in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Cloonusker getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tipper Lester hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brayden McWillie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nolyn McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaynor McBrandon in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Cloonusker's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Irwin McFrank fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Cloonusker's Tirloch McBjarton got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aengus McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keely Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Keely Keegan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killbarly's Aengus McPeter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cloonusker's Nolyn McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin McFrank in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Killbarly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Críostóir McTommy to maneuver through the defense. Nolyn McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin McFrank in the 77th minute of play. Nolyn McJohnny made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gaynor McBrandon sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Brayden McWillie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloonusker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Aengus McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden McWillie in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Críostóir McStephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Cloonusker got a freekick which was hit by Beiti Mullan. Irwin McFrank hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
