Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Timmons Jameson made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Harley McTom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Keely Keegan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barde McNamara was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Timmons Jameson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Nolyn McJohnny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlejordan. In the 9th minute, Timmons Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bodibeua McBrandon hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brayden McWillie in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barde McNamara saved Castlejordan from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmons Jameson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nolyn McJohnny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timmons Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nolyn McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nolyn McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Jameson in the 24th minute of the match. Brayden McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barde McNamara having to interfere. After some careless play in the Castlejordan defense, Keely Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barde McNamara. The Castlejordan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barde McNamara should have stopped the shot. When Brayden McWillie came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cloonusker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brayden McWillie couldn't finish the play. If Raonall Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmons Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Timmons Jameson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nolyn McJohnny, 1-1. The supporters of Cloonusker booed when Castlejordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua McBrandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brayden McWillie to strike the kick off in the second half. Raonall Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolyn McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmons Jameson in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Raonall Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castlejordan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raonall Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Castlejordan got a freekick which was hit by Herygh Callaghan. Beiti Mullan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barde McNamara. Castlejordan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raonall Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nolyn McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Castlejordan got a freekick which was hit by Quirk McWill. 70 minutes into the match, Raonall Rutherford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nolyn McJohnny. Cloonusker's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raonall Rutherford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 74 played minutes Cloonusker got a freekick which was hit by Tirloch McBjarton. In the 76th minute, Abbot McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timmons Jameson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timmons McAlphie was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, one of Cloonusker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cloonusker.
