Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cloonusker's Brayden McWillie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdia McAaron hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Cloonusker got a freekick which was hit by Abbot McJames. Keegan McSteve might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nolyn McJohnny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keegan McSteve ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Corlee getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bergin Savic hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corlee's zone, Brayden McWillie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bil Martyn came out of the goal and Brayden McWillie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bil Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden McWillie in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Cloonusker's Keely Keegan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bil Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Keegan McSteve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nolyn McJohnny was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Keegan McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beiti Mullan made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tipper Lester immediately put the ball in play. After 41 played minutes Cloonusker got a freekick which was hit by Barley McPhil. The Corlee players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cloonusker were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keegan McSteve made a kick off. Bergin Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Corlee's Bil Martyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden McWillie in the 54th minute of play. Keegan McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmons McAlphie tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nolyn McJohnny. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 62nd minute. Beiti Mullan made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tirloch McBjarton. The throw-in from Beiti Mullan in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Corlee's Ferdia McAaron. After having played for 70 minutes, Keegan McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corlee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keegan McSteve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keegan McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolyn McJohnny having to interfere. If Bercan McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Keegan McSteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cloonusker's Nolyn McJohnny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 94 minutes, Bercan McLaughlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corlee and the Cloonusker players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Corlee getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bercan McLaughlin hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes, Cloonusker's Beiti Mullan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bil Martyn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cloonusker reached it. Pierson Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corlee succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cloonusker had controlled the match.
