Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cleary Lester made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Cuilkillew's goal looked a bit too open when Aodh Palmer came free, but Finn Silke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aodh Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Derin Frankson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuilkillew's protests and gave Derin Frankson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cuilkillew getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Derin Frankson hit a great ball. A collision led to Corlee getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bercan McLaughlin hit a great ball. In the 24th play minute Tate Dillon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bearnad Caffrey. 1-0. The supporters of Cuilkillew booed when Corlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bergin Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Derin Frankson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bearnad Caffrey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bercan McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cuilkillew booed when Corlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bergin Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bercan McLaughlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Finn Silke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bercan McLaughlin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Corlee's Bercan McLaughlin in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuilkillew's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Corlee's Donall Keegan got a free kick in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aodh Palmer made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Finn Silke managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Corlee's Bercan McLaughlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute, Cuilkillew's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aodh Palmer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 59th match minute, Cuilkillew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derin Frankson to maneuver through the defense. Bearnad Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleary Lester in the 66th minute of play. If Tate Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corlee's Aodh Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glenn Holt hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Finn Silke acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferdia McAaron. In the 78th minute Aodh Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Silke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bercan McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Silke having to interfere. Cuilkillew's Finn Silke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aodh Palmer in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Cuilkillew's Finn Silke got control of the ball when Bercan McLaughlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Corlee's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Corlee may have spent more time on the ball, but Cuilkillew were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
