Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Braddon Cronin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Shey Mullan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmons Jameson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Beale Dalton hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bodibeua McBrandon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfred McBrand was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Ryon McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barde McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braddon Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barde McNamara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barra McWill's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Shey Mullan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timmons Jameson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Shey Mullan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Jameson in the 31st minute of the match. Raonall Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th match minute, Castlejordan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harley McTom to maneuver through the defense. Barra McWill scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barde McNamara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmons Jameson made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Derrybeg got a freekick which was hit by Jarlath McJames. If Barra McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beale Dalton fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derrybeg's protests and gave Beale Dalton a yellow card for diving instead. Beale Dalton hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Derrybeg booed when Castlejordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua McBrandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shey Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmons Jameson in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Timmons Jameson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shey Mullan was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Barde McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braddon Cronin in the 77th minute of play. Shey Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmons Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmons Jameson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Shey Mullan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlejordan. Beale Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Derrybeg's Shey Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmons Jameson in the 85th minute of play. Raonall Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shey Mullan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmons Jameson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Derrybeg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castlejordan.
