Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cleary Lester made the kick off which started today's match. Barde McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleary Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Barde McNamara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tate Dillon in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tate Dillon got free with Barde McNamara in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basil MaCollin, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cleary Lester struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Barde McNamara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuilkillew. 28 minutes into the match, Raonall Rutherford notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cuilkillew's Finn Silke. Finn Silke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Glenn Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryon McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Finn Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Castlejordan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmons Jameson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Glenn Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finn Silke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Jameson in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Tate Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barde McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Castlejordan's Timmons Jameson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Finn Silke. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play. Finn Silke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmons Jameson in the 63rd minute of the match. Tate Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Castlejordan's Timmons Jameson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Finn Silke. That made the score 0-3 after 76 minutes of play. The supporters of Cuilkillew booed when Castlejordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua McBrandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Cuilkillew got a freekick which was hit by Salmon McSteven. Raonall Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barde McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salmon McSteven, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Timmons Jameson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Finn Silke came out and tried to block the shot, but Timmons Jameson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 98th minute.
