Annaghgerry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brendanus Sheridan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Annaghgerry's Shey Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beltany Mullan in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Annaghgerry got a freekick which was hit by Coran Caffey. After some careless play in the Annaghgerry defense, Beltany Mullan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shey Dimson. The Annaghgerry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shey Dimson should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Jonathan Ramsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annaghgerry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathglass the free kick. Jonathan Ramsey hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Annaghgerry defense, Brendanus Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shey Dimson. The Annaghgerry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shey Dimson should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, Rathglass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoghan Morrison to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Caffeys short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Beollan McSteven to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute Beltany Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shey Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shey Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendanus Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Beltany Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Annaghgerry's goal looked a bit too open when Beltany Mullan came free, but Shey Dimson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coran Caffey hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Beltany Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 50th minute, Bairrionn McDecland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Brendanus Sheridan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Shey Dimson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beltany Mullan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 64 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Beltany Mullan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shey Dimson. The goal made the score 0-7. Rathglass's Beollan McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairrionn McDecland in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Bairrionn McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beollan McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shey Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltany Mullan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Beltany Mullan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shey Dimson. The goal made the score 0-8. When Samuel McJon fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annaghgerry's protests and gave Samuel McJon a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Brendanus Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendanus Sheridan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baoithin Ramsey got free with Shey Dimson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Rathglass left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Annaghgerry.
