Thom Dimson charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thom Dimson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thom Dimson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyle Silke in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blian McGlynn saved Teeromoyle from getting behind. Blian McGlynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolan Gollogley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyle Silke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blian McGlynn having to interfere. Blian McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyle Silke in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Rolan Gollogley notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Teeromoyle's Blian McGlynn. Blian McGlynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ballinamult booed when Teeromoyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fionntán Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breenan Cooney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boroimhe Costello's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyle Silke to make the kick off. When Brendanus Hamilton fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teeromoyle's protests and gave Brendanus Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Teeromoyle's Blian McGlynn got control of the ball when Barock McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballinamult's Barock McPaul slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blian McGlynn. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. Tathan McBrandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendanus Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Blian McGlynn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barock McPaul in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Teeromoyle defense, Barock McPaul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blian McGlynn. The Teeromoyle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blian McGlynn should have stopped the shot. Barock McPauls short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Blian McGlynn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Blian McGlynn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ballinamult's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
