Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dawayne McJohnny kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Beennamweel getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Salmon Caffey hit a great ball. If Pawd Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raonall McLiam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Raonall McLiam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Termonbarry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 15 played minutes Termonbarry got a freekick which was hit by Pawd Myler. Irwin McBjarton made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Britt McStephen sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match Termonbarry got a corner. Beennamweel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brann Caffrey ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute Baoithin Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beennamweel's zone, Dawayne McJohnny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donal Cronin came out of the goal and Dawayne McJohnny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raonall McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dawayne McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Donal Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dawayne McJohnny sped through Beennamweel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donal Cronin. Dawayne McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Beennamweel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Termonbarry were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baoithin Sheridan was the one to do the kick off. Raonall McLiam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Donal Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawayne McJohnny in the 56th minute of play forced Beennamweel's goalkeeper Donal Cronin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dawayne McJohnny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donal Cronin having to make a save. In the 61st minute Baoithin Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dawayne McJohnny in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donal Cronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donal Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawayne McJohnny in the 64th minute of the match. Donal Cronin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doney Frankson in the 67th minute. Beothach O'Keefe hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Raonall McLiam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawayne McJohnny in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donal Cronin saved Beennamweel from getting behind. Beennamweel's Donal Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawayne McJohnny in the 77th minute of play. Donal Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawayne McJohnny in the 89th minute of the match. Donal Cronin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawayne McJohnny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pawd Myler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donal Cronin came out and tried to block the shot, but Pawd Myler slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Termonbarry could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beennamweel throughout the match.
