The Meens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bearchan McBjarton should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Meens's goal looked a bit too open when Colmcille McStephen came free, but Bearchan McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toombeola's Colmcille McStephen got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colmcille McStephens short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Bearchan McBjarton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bearchan McBjarton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colmcille McStephen's shot from short distance in the 71st minute.
