In the 47th minute Cahir Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bean Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th match minute, Clownings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cahir Harkin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Robert Palmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Lavine came out of the goal and Robert Palmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beamard Willson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. Robert Palmer took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Lavine. Isaac Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Bean Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwin Perth went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Annesbrook's goalkeeper Bean Rutherford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cahir Harkin. Robert Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Annesbrook fully deserved thier win.
