Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Colmcille McStephen got the match started through his kick off. Blathmac Horgan struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Blanche McPaul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunaw. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cianán McPhilip in the 11th minute of play forced Bunaw's goalkeeper Ryon Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Bec Savic made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bunaw's Ryon Ferguson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Colmcille McStephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Colmcille McStephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toombeola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunaw the free kick. The supporters of Bunaw booed when Toombeola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colmcille McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bec Savic fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toombeola's protests and gave Bec Savic a yellow card for diving instead. Bec Savic hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ryon Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colmcille McStephen in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Toombeola got a freekick which was hit by Bec Savic. Blathmac Horgan's late challenge caught a Toombeola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blathmac Horgan helped the player get up and apologised. The Bunaw players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Toombeola were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ailill McTommy was the one to do the kick off. Bray Sheridan hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Colmcille McStephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryon Ferguson. Bunaw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colmcille McStephen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 67th match minute, Bunaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quaid Deans to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Bec Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryon Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blanche McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailill McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bunaw were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Toombeola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kennedy McGlynn took the corner. Baird McSteven thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Blanche McPaul, a very annoying self made goal in the 76th minute which led to 2-3. After 78 minutes, Kennedy McGlynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunaw and the Toombeola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Quaid Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toombeola's Braon McAlphie got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Caroll McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Toombeola's Cianán McPhilip broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Bunaw booed when Toombeola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braon McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball.
