Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ailill McTommy got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Donegal Holt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryon Ferguson. Bunaw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donegal Holt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bunaw's attentive Kaine Cooney managed to snatch the ball when Leon Coyle made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes Bunaw got a freekick which was hit by Bray Sheridan. A collision led to Bunaw getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nollaig Dunne hit a great ball. Donegal Holt in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ryon Ferguson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Coyle during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon Coyle hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Calliagh got a freekick which was hit by Keelin McWillie. When Leon Coyle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. A collision led to Calliagh getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leon Coyle hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donegal Holt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donegal Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ryon Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryon Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donegal Holt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ryon Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keelin McWillie in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Bunaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quaid Deans to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Ailill McTommy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Calliagh's Donegal Holt made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryon Ferguson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bunaw booed when Calliagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brefni Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ailill McTommy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Brak Cooney skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brak Cooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ailill McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bunaw's zone, Brefni Johnson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryon Ferguson came out of the goal and Brefni Johnson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calliagh's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
