Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dónal Kelly started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Cianán McPhilip came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Toombeola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cianán McPhilip couldn't finish the play. If Dónal Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colmcille McStephen struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bean Rutherford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toombeola. Colmcille McStephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bean Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colmcille McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colmcille McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Rutherford having to interfere. If Dónal Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Palmer in the 40th minute of play forced Toombeola's goalkeeper Blanche McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Colmcille McStephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bean Rutherford was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Colmcille McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Colmcille McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Toombeola's Braon McAlphie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bean Rutherford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Biviti McPhilip took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bean Rutherford. Annesbrook's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Colmcille McStephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Dónal Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Toombeola's Colmcille McStephen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bean Rutherford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bean Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colmcille McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Toombeola's Colmcille McStephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bean Rutherford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Colmcille McStephen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Annesbrook's Bean Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Colmcille McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Toombeola's Cianán McPhilip got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bean Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colmcille McStephen in the 93rd minute of play. Colmcille McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Rutherford having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Toombeola players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
