In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clownings's goalkeeper Isaac Lavine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baoithin Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. Baoithin Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Isaac Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baoithin Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Britt McStephen in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Lavine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Beennamweel's zone, Edwin Perth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donal Cronin came out of the goal and Edwin Perth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beennamweel's Donal Cronin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Beennamweel from getting a goal against them. Cahir Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Braden Mulvihill notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Beennamweel's Donal Cronin. Donal Cronin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Britt McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cahir Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Britt McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cahir Harkin made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Britt McStephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beennamweel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Britt McStephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Beennamweel! Breck McPhilip walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Donal Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahir Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Edwin Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donal Cronin having to interfere. Britt McStephen 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. At last the ball reached Rannal Morrison at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Beennamweel. 2-0. Edwin Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Baoithin Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beennamweel's supporters rose to their feet, but Baoithin Sheridan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Britt McStephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. The supporters of Beennamweel booed when Clownings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clownings fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beennamweel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
