Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blanaid McBrand took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barcvni McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daron McPhil having to interfere. Raymun Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bhrighde Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Blanaid McBrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymun Dempsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bhrighde Hamilton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Daron McPhil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aengus Byrne. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dennis Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallaght's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Ramsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bhrighde Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Tallaght's Daron McPhil got control of the ball when Barcvni McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Raymun Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallaght's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymun Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bhrighde Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymun Dempsey in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bhrighde Hamilton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Blanaid McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhrighde Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradaigh Benson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bradaigh Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barcvni McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradaigh Benson in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daron McPhil saved Tallaght from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Milltown's zone, Raymun Dempsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bhrighde Hamilton came out of the goal and Raymun Dempsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Milltown got a freekick which was hit by Paud Robinson. After having played for 58 minutes, Raymun Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallaght's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymun Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Milltown's goalkeeper Bhrighde Hamilton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymun Dempsey. Herne McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Donncha Myler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tallaght's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milltown the free kick. Donncha Myler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Barcvni McJohnny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daron McPhil was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Daron McPhil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barcvni McJohnny in the 72nd minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Milltown's Barcvni McJohnny made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daron McPhil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bradaigh Benson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daron McPhil having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Ramsey during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Paud Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milltown and the Tallaght players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Milltown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paud Robinson to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes of play, Tallaght's Raymun Dempsey made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bhrighde Hamilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daron McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradaigh Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradaigh Benson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daron McPhil having to make a save. Daron McPhil came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Milltown's Barcvni McJohnny. But to his dismay, Barcvni McJohnny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 98 minutes into the match, Tallaght's goal looked a bit too open when Gordan Colwell came free, but Daron McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
