Patraic Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradaigh Benson in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Cohunon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Cohunon's goal looked a bit too open when Barcvni McJohnny came free, but Patraic Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patraic Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herne McWillie in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes in the game Rannal Caffey after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Bhrighde Hamilton. After the first half Milltown were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rannal Caffey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blake McBjarton hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bradaigh Benson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Milltown's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Cohunon's Ryland McAaron got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Milltown booed when Cohunon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blake McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milltown's Nolyn Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bradaigh Benson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Patraic Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milltown. Herich Gough hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Barcvni McJohnny charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barcvni McJohnny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Barcvni McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Barcvni McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Milltown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barcvni McJohnny couldn't finish the play. Blake McBjarton charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blake McBjarton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blake McBjarton hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cohunon getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rolan McPeter hit a great ball. Milltown played a much better game than Cohunon and deserved their victory. The Cohunon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
