In the 43rd minute, Breas Robinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bodibeua Johnson might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coileán Myler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bodibeua Johnson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Bat Deans made a precise shot to the right of Coileán Myler. Kilbraney's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bodibeua Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coileán Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. St Tiknock's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
