Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blanaid McBrand kicked off to start the match. When Piers Willson fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallaght's protests and gave Piers Willson a yellow card for diving instead. Piers Willson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tallaght's Dinny Lavine got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cashel Caffrey in the 6th minute of play forced Tallaght's goalkeeper Daron McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reginald McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breffni McIan in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daron McPhil saved Tallaght from getting behind. Raymun Dempsey in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boddibevve Willson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caimin McPhil's late challenge caught a Tallaght's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caimin McPhil helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Reginald McStephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daron McPhil was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The Jamestown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dennis Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Daron McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breffni McIan in the 34th minute of play. Breffni McIan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daron McPhil having to make a save. If Breffni McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breffni McIans short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Daron McPhil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Tallaght's goalkeeper Daron McPhil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breffni McIan. Donlan Deery's late challenge caught a Tallaght's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donlan Deery helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Jamestown got a freekick which was hit by Donlan Deery. After having played for 93 minutes, Raymun Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallaght's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymun Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald McStephen in the 97th minute of play forced Tallaght's goalkeeper Daron McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamestown's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
