Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beamard Dimson kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute of the match Cianán McCollion shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patraic Palmer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beamard Dimson scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patraic Palmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Clon's Beamard Dimson in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cohunon's goalie prevented a goal. Herich Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cohunon's zone, Eoghan Tracy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patraic Palmer came out of the goal and Eoghan Tracy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Beamard Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beamard Dimson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Patraic Palmer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Blake McBjarton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berkeley Cronin in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patraic Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beamard Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Patraic Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harvey McPhilip stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkeley Cronin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Patraic Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patraic Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkeley Cronin in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Cohunon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clon:s goal. Cianán McCollion got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Berkeley Cronin. After 73 minutes, Herich Gough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cohunon and the Clon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herich Gough hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Beamard Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patraic Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patraic Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beamard Dimson's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Beamard Dimson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patraic Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 92 played minutes Clon got a freekick which was hit by Eoghan Tracy. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clon fully deserved thier win.
