Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Irving Branson started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Killycross's Harley Frankson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Cohunon's goalkeeper Patraic Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beagan Sheridan. If Harvey McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rannal Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patraic Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bras McDonald in the 13th minute. Cohunon's Patraic Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harley Frankson in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Cohunon getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Berrin Crowe hit a great ball. Harvey McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan Frankson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irving Branson in the 24th minute of play forced Cohunon's goalkeeper Patraic Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Patraic Palmer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th play minute Bras McDonald came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patraic Palmer. 1-0. If Irving Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bat Ferguson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Patraic Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Branson in the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harvey McPhilip to make the kick off. Irving Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patraic Palmer having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Beagan Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killycross's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beagan Sheridan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beagan Sheridan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patraic Palmer. Patraic Palmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Irving Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Cohunon got a freekick which was hit by Rolan McPeter. After 77 minutes, Rolan McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cohunon and the Killycross players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cohunon's Rolan McPeter got a free kick in the 77th minute. Killycross's Hayes McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cohunon's Patraic Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irving Branson in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Cohunon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Cohunon got a freekick which was hit by Blake McBjarton. There was no doubt that Killycross were the better team. Killycross's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
