Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bradaigh Benson took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Milltown booed when Calfstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binnech Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcvni McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Basil McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basil McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradaigh Benson in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calfstown's zone, Barcvni McJohnny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basil McPhilip came out of the goal and Barcvni McJohnny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barcvni McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPhilip having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradaigh Benson in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basil McPhilip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basil McPhilip was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bradaigh Benson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barcvni McJohnny got free with Basil McPhilip in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barcvni McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPhilip having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Bradaigh Benson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the match, Milltown's Barcvni McJohnny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil McPhilip narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barcvni McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Basil McPhilip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milltown. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradaigh Benson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basil McPhilip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breannain Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sherlock Kelly was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Bradaigh Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Barcvni McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milltown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barcvni McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Barcvni McJohnny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milltown and the Calfstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. Birr Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basil McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordan Colwell went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bradaigh Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milltown's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradaigh Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basil McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Barcvni McJohnny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milltown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Calfstown's Birr Crowe got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradaigh Benson in the 86th minute of play forced Calfstown's goalkeeper Basil McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Rollan Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milltown's Bradaigh Benson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Gordan Colwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milltown and the Calfstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Milltown getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gordan Colwell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherlock Kelly in the 96th minute of play forced Milltown's goalkeeper Bhrighde Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Milltown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
