Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Royan McCready kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Pallasgreen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Cassin. Dinny Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royan McCready in the 7th minute of the match. Rorey Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Barry McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinny Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannan Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Brannan Lester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinny Martyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Rorey Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breen McBrand during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keeghan McTommy in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinny Martyn saved Pallasgreen AFC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bow Deans was the one to do the kick off. Dinny Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royan McCready in the 57th minute of play. Dinny Martyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keeghan McTommy in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Caolán Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rorey Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute.
