A collision led to Fivealley AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ailill Taylor hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes, Fivealley AFC's Raymond McPhil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philib McJon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fivealley AFC reached it. After a rather tough play, Ballytrasna AFC's Buach Brennan got a free kick in the 12th minute. Farrell Murphy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Philib McJon. Ballytrasna AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Rorey Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beccan Tierney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Blamhac McPaul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballytrasna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fivealley AFC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Blamhac McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ballytrasna AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Caoilte Ryan hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Benjamin McCollion notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballytrasna AFC's Philib McJon. Philib McJon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 33 minutes, Donal Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fivealley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donal Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philib McJon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donal Coyle in the 36th minute of play. Benjamin McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Philib McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iarla Rutherford took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beccan Tierney. Beccan Tierney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rorey Willson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rorey Willson made a kick off. Beccan Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rorey Willson in the 52nd minute of the match. Fivealley AFC's Beccan Tierney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iarla Rutherford in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 minutes, Rorey Willson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fivealley AFC's Beccan Tierney tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Torin Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rorey Willson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beccan Tierney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Philib McJon was a little too slow when Donal Coyle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-2. After 72 played minutes Fivealley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blian Gillmour. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fivealley AFC's goalkeeper Beccan Tierney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute of the match Fivealley AFC got a corner. Ballytrasna AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Farrell Murphy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benjamin McCollion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Philib McJon made a huge save. If Donal Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Donal Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fivealley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donal Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philib McJon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donal Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Philib McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
