Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradley Rutherford kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cloughjordan's goal looked a bit too open when Royan McCready came free, but Pearson Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pearson Dillon managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Rahans's Keeghan McTommy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Turlough Ghee charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turlough Ghee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Rahans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turlough Ghee to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Bradigan Branson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pearson Dillon skillfully saved the ball. Pearson Dillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keeghan McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Keeghan Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Rutherford in the 25th minute of play forced Rahans's goalkeeper Barry McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Keeghan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royan McCready recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Cloughjordan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian McGlenn to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Cloughjordan's goalkeeper Pearson Dillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keeghan McTommy. Pearson Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royan McCready in the 47th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Keeghan McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rahans's supporters rose to their feet, but Keeghan McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearson Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Royan McCready stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cloughjordan's zone, Keeghan McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pearson Dillon came out of the goal and Keeghan McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rahans's Royan McCready got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keeghan McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turlough Ghee was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 65th minute, Bradley Rutherford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry McLian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Keeghan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Keeghan McTommy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rahans and the Cloughjordan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rahans getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Keeghan McTommy hit a great ball. Pearson Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keeghan McTommy in the 75th minute of the match. Barry McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Rutherford in the 81st minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Cloughjordan's goal looked a bit too open when Royan McCready came free, but Pearson Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Keeghan McTommy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pearson Dillon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rahans were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
