Dermod Glen Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harley McPaul having to interfere. Harley McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carson Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braden McJon's late challenge caught a Binkeeragh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braden McJon helped the player get up and apologised. Braden McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Tirloch Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binkeeragh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indreabhan the free kick. Carson Crowe's late challenge caught a Binkeeragh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carson Crowe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Indreabhan's goalkeeper Barhart Gough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Binkeeragh FC defense, Carson Crowe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harley McPaul. The Binkeeragh FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harley McPaul should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Carson Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harley McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abban Holt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Binkeeragh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugh Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball.
