Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bercan McBrandon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benjamin McCollion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benen Johnson having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fivealley AFC's goalkeeper Beccan Tierney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bercan McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fivealley AFC's zone, Bercan McBrandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beccan Tierney came out of the goal and Bercan McBrandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quinalahy's Rowen McBjarton got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quinalahy's Benen Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donal Coyle in the 28th minute of play. Benen Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donal Coyle in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Quinalahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artt O'Brien to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Donal Coyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Beglan Glen Crowe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beccan Tierney was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 48 minutes, Farrell Murphy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fivealley AFC and the Quinalahy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Fivealley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Farrell Murphy . Colmcille Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Bercan McBrandon might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beccan Tierney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bercan McBrandon ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Rowen McBjarton notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fivealley AFC's Beccan Tierney. Beccan Tierney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bercan McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Benjamin McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fivealley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin McCollion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rowen McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beglan Glen Crowe hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Donal Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinalahy's Bercan McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Donal Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fivealley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donal Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benen Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
