Peadar McVictor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Logan McBjarton in the 14th minute. Trien Dunne's late challenge caught a Fivealley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trien Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. Trien Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Lissanisky getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bradigan Palmer hit a great ball. Daniel Keegan's late challenge caught a Fivealley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Keegan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Daniel Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes in the game, Donal Coyle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peadar McVictor having to interfere. Beccan Tierney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robin Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Lissanisky booed when Fivealley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ailill Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Donegan Byrne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beccan Tierney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fivealley AFC's zone, Daniel Keegan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beccan Tierney came out of the goal and Daniel Keegan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Keegan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beccan Tierney having to make a save. 47 minutes into the game, Robin Dempsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Beccan Tierney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute, Robin Dempsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lissanisky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fivealley AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Daniel Keegan scored to the left of an out of position Beccan Tierney, making the score, 1-4. Beccan Tierney was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robin Dempsey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 64 minute of play. With a little luck, Fivealley AFC's Beccan Tierney got control of the ball when Robin Dempsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fivealley AFC's Beccan Tierney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Fivealley AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Donal Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-6 became the score in the 81st minute when Daniel Keegan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Robin Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Beccan Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lissanisky. After having played for 89 minutes, Donal Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fivealley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donal Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peadar McVictor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Fivealley AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lissanisky's performance. The match ended with a win for Lissanisky.
