The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bow Deans made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pallasgreen AFC's goalkeeper Dinny Martyn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Pallasgreen AFC's Rorey Gough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pearson Dillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Damian McGlenn fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
