Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rory Deans made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Royan McCready notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cloongowla's Tevin Coyle. Tevin Coyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Royan McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry McLian having to interfere. Tevin Coyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Royan McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Cloongowla got a freekick which was hit by Kerrigan Mullan. If Binnech Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Cloongowla booed when Rahans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turlough Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Rahans defense, Bressal Hamilton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barry McLian. The Rahans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barry McLian should have stopped the shot. Bressal Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keeghan McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tevin Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rory Deans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Rahans defense, Bressal Hamilton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barry McLian. The Rahans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barry McLian should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cloongowla booed when Rahans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradigan Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 50th minute, Paudraig McLaughlin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rahans's Barry McLian didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Royan McCready to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Bressal Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keeghan McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tevin Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cloongowla's Tevin Coyle got control of the ball when Keeghan McTommy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Turlough Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cloongowla's Tevin Coyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cloongowla from getting a goal against them. When Bressal Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cloongowla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bressal Hamilton couldn't finish the play. Barry McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Deans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tevin Coyle made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Keeghan McTommy sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keeghan McTommy got free with Tevin Coyle in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rahans's Barry McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bressal Hamilton in the 84th minute of play. Cloongowla's Tevin Coyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cloongowla from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royan McCready in the 89th minute of play forced Cloongowla's goalkeeper Tevin Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bressal Hamilton in the 91st minute of the match. Rory Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Barry McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barry McLian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bressal Hamilton went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rahans players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cloongowla.
