Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bow Deans kicked off to start the match. Dinny Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bressal Hamilton in the 3rd minute of play. If Rorey Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pallasgreen AFC's Paud McTommy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Randal Cassin, made in the 7th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Pallasgreen AFC's Paud McTommy got a free kick in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Pallasgreen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Deans came free, but Dinny Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinny Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Deans in the 17th minute of the match. Dinny Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bressal Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rory Deans's late challenge caught a Pallasgreen AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rory Deans helped the player get up and apologised. Rory Deans hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bow Deans charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bow Deans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 minutes of play, Cloongowla's Binnech Tracy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinny Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory Deans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dinny Martyn came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cloongowla's Bressal Hamilton. But to his dismay, Bressal Hamilton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dinny Martyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binnech Tracy in the 66th minute. Geoffrey McBrand hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dinny Martyn made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bressal Hamilton sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Kerrigan Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinny Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pallasgreen AFC's Brosnan McStephen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Rorey Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Cloongowla got a freekick which was hit by Binnech Tracy.
