Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradley Rutherford kicked off to start the match. The Lissanisky fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Lissanisky's Daniel Keegan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cloughjordan's Quirk McVictor got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, Quirk McVictor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pearson Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bradley Rutherford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peadar McVictor was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Raonall Callaghan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lissanisky's protests and gave Raonall Callaghan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lissanisky's Raonall Callaghan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bradley Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peadar McVictor having to interfere. If Bradley Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pearson Dillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Dempsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes, Quirk McVictor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloughjordan and the Lissanisky players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quirk McVictor hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Donegan Byrne succeeded in the game's 40th minute to get real power on a long shot . Cloughjordan's Pearson Dillon hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Robin Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pearson Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lissanisky's Robin Dempsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pearson Dillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Robin Dempsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pearson Dillon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Keegan to strike the kick off in the second half. Bowie McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play Lissanisky's Raonall Callaghan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 56 played minutes Lissanisky got a freekick which was hit by Raonall Callaghan. Peadar McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Rutherford in the 61st minute of play. Robin Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bowie McOliver struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Pearson Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lissanisky. 73 minutes into the match, Cloughjordan's goalkeeper Pearson Dillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Dempsey. A collision led to Cloughjordan getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Keeghan Colwell hit a great ball. Robin Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pearson Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Lissanisky got a freekick which was hit by Denny Hunt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Keegan got free with Pearson Dillon in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 85th minute, but Pearson Dillon got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cloughjordan hanging dry this time. Robin Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
