Pallasboy Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indreabhan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pallasboy Utd's Beagan Keegan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Carson Crowe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Indreabhan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute, Carson Crowe made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Sheridan. Pallasboy Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Indreabhan's Barhart Gough got control of the ball when Cianán McSteve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carson Crowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Sheridan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carson Crowe ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliver Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carson Crowe in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dermod Glen Crowe in the 32nd minute of play forced Pallasboy Utd's goalkeeper Oliver Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Carson Crowe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pallasboy Utd's Oliver Sheridan. Oliver Sheridan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Braden McJon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, Pallasboy Utd's Cianán McSteve made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barhart Gough was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pallasboy Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Indreabhan were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dermod Glen Crowe to strike the kick off in the second half. When Beagan Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Pallasboy Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beagan Keegan couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Indreabhan's Carson Crowe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oliver Sheridan. Oliver Sheridan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Barhart Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coinneach Harkin in the 65th minute of play. Carson Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Indreabhan's Dermod Glen Crowe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Sheridan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Sheridan Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Barhart Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Beagan Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barhart Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Sheridan was a little too slow when Carson Crowe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-6. 90 minutes into the match, Cianán McSteve notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of Indreabhan's Barhart Gough. Barhart Gough was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Pallasboy Utd's goalkeeper Oliver Sheridan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dermod Glen Crowe. The Indreabhan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Indreabhan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
