Barhart Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bard McBjarton's late challenge caught a Cloughjordan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bard McBjarton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cloughjordan booed when Indreabhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bard McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dermod Glen Crowe struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Pearson Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indreabhan. A collision led to Cloughjordan getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Damian McGlenn hit a great ball. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Cloughjordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belock McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, one of Cloughjordan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pearson Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carson Crowe in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Damian McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barhart Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Cloughjordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carson Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearson Dillon having to interfere. Indreabhan's Carson Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carson Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cloughjordan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradley Rutherford was the one to do the kick off. Bivitas Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dermod Glen Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indreabhan's supporters rose to their feet, but Dermod Glen Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearson Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cloughjordan's Pearson Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dermod Glen Crowe in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Indreabhan's Cullan Moran got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Indreabhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Bradley Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barhart Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carson Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloughjordan's goalkeeper Pearson Dillon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pearson Dillon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Indreabhan's Dermod Glen Crowe. But to his dismay, Dermod Glen Crowe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pearson Dillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dermod Glen Crowe in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Cloughjordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Carson Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearson Dillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pearson Dillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dermod Glen Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dermod Glen Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Indreabhan's zone, Bradley Rutherford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barhart Gough came out of the goal and Bradley Rutherford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Dermod Glen Crowe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pearson Dillon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 94 minutes, Brian MaCollin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloughjordan and the Indreabhan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Cloughjordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carson Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Indreabhan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
