Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abban Holt started the match with the kick off. Daniel Keegan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harley McPaul having to make a save. After having played for 12 minutes, Robin Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lissanisky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peadar McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abban Holt in the 14th minute of the match. Harley McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Robin Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Turlough Dempsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binkeeragh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lissanisky the free kick. In the 24th minute, Turlough Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flann Horgan's late challenge caught a Lissanisky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flann Horgan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Binkeeragh FC's Flann Horgan got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Lissanisky getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bannan McMichel hit a great ball. Peadar McVictor made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Banon McJohn sent off a good shot on target. Harley McPaul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Dempsey in the 33rd minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Robin Dempsey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Binkeeragh FC's Harley McPaul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Keegan in the 39th minute of play. Robin Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Daniel Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lissanisky's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Keegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harley McPaul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Keegan to make the kick off. Banon McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Peadar McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Daniel Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abban Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Peadar McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abban Holt in the 66th minute of play forced Lissanisky's goalkeeper Peadar McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abban Holt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peadar McVictor having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Binkeeragh FC's goalkeeper Harley McPaul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Dempsey. Abban Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denny Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Binkeeragh FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lissanisky's performance. The match ended with a win for Lissanisky.
