Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Dromcunnig's goalkeeper Bohannon Tierney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaithmeic Hughes. Gordon Perth's late challenge caught a Dromcunnig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gordon Perth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Gordon Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loughlin Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alfred Duggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dromcunnig getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Brecc Dimson hit a great ball. Donleavy Ferguson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Alfred Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loughlin Dimson in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Darren McJohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Duggan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Barnacahoge's Gordon Perth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bohannon Tierney. Bohannon Tierney yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Ravan Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rylee McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Barnacahoge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rylee McLiam couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Blaithmeic Hughes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bohannon Tierney was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gordon Perth got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 33 played minutes Barnacahoge got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Perth. Alfred Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren McJohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blaithmeic Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohannon Tierney having to interfere. If Darren McJohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaithmeic Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bohannon Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Blaithmeic Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th play minute Blaithmeic Hughes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bohannon Tierney. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blaithmeic Hughes to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Dromcunnig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barnacahoge:s goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnacahoge's goalkeeper Alfred Duggan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Brecc Dimson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dromcunnig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnacahoge the free kick. In the 64th minute, Brecc Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaithmeic Hughes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bohannon Tierney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Bohannon Tierney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rylee McLiam's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Piers Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Loughlin Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bohannon Tierney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blaithmeic Hughes went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dromcunnig's goalkeeper Bohannon Tierney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bohannon Tierney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaithmeic Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren McJohn in the 98th minute of play forced Barnacahoge's goalkeeper Alfred Duggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dromcunnig players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barnacahoge.
